I didn’t know about it. But it is a small and pretty application that can help you when you are going to buy a new laptop/desktop. (you may need to #yum install lshw).

Try running it like

# lshw -html > test.html

Here is my output.

That’s neat and all, but I _really_ wish tools like that would always give the PCI and USB IDs for peripherals in their output, as it’s the easiest and least confusing way to refer to and search for them. You can work it back from the vendor and device *name* in the output, via pci.ids or usb.ids, but it’s a pain in the ass.
